Project TEAM
Park Cofield (Project Director) is a director of theater and opera, a puppet designer, and writer based in Los Angeles, CA. He is known for highly visual work, family friendly performances, and loyal adaptations of classic books and films, including a bi-lingual production of Albert Lamorisse’s The Red Balloon with Théâtre du Rêve, and the U.S. premiere of Quentin Blake’s ZAGAZOO in Mammoth Lakes, CA. He has a degree in theater studies from Emerson College and has traveled and performed international with Eugenio Barba and Odin Teatret.
In the fall of 2011, he was awarded the prestigious Altvater Fellowship with Cornerstone Theater Company, a leader in community based theater work in the U.S. During his time with Cornerstone, Park helped to produce Creative Seeds, a two week long festival to kick off the company's Hunger Cycle and worked as the project coordinator for Talk It Out: A Community Conversation to Fix School Discipline, a new initiative addressing suspension and expulsions in Sacramento. He also spearheaded community engagement efforts in Richmond, CA around healthy living and a vote regarding a tax on soda and sugary drinks.
Additionally, Park is the Program Associate for Network of Ensemble Theaters, a national service organization dedicated to supporting and advocating for ensemble theater practices in the US. He manages and runs the NET/TEN grant program, a funding program designed to
support ensemble-to-ensemble knowledge, sharing and relationship building.

Saara Wacklin (Community Manager) is a Los Angeles based producer and editor. Born and raised in Finland, she developed a great passion for theater and performing arts at a young age. After graduating with an MA in Arts Criticism and Management from City University London in 2007, she has been working in the field of arts management in California, UK and Finland.
In 2014 Saara produced a Finnish-American political farce, Snow Leopard’s Den, which took place at The Promenade Playhouse, Santa Monica. Since the fall of 2013 she has also been the Editor of The Poet’s Ring.com, Inc.
Before relocating to California in 2011, Saara spent three years in Finland, working as a Performing Arts Producer of Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, where she coordinated a variety of plays and applied drama projects.
